Registration for our two summer programs — KOSC Summer Break Camp and the Youth Adventure Program — will open at 7:00am on May 1st, 2024. I am excited to share information about these two exciting programs.
Our KOSC Summer Break Camp is open to all school-aged children and features a robust and exciting mixture of active games, crafts, and free play, as well as field trips to local parks, beaches, and other fun destinations in the Greater Victoria area. Children who will be entering Kindergarten in September 2024, though not technically considered school-aged, are able to attend camp with a temporary placement exemption from Island Health Authority.
Our Youth Adventure Program is open to all children who will be entering Grade 4 or above in September 2024 and offers a more independent and adventurous experience for older children and youths, with an emphasis on outdoor active fun. YAP is designed to give children more input into their summer experience by providing daily field trip and activity options and allowing the group to collectively choose what they want to do.
Both of our programs run from 7:00am to 6:00pm and offer flexible daily registration, allowing families to pick and choose as many or as few days as needed. The cost is $45 per day.
