Hello to all new families of the KOSC Program!
As registration for fall begins at 7:00am on Monday, April 2nd, I thought I would just remind everyone of our current registration procedures.
For those families who have picked up a registration package from KOSC, please ensure that you have completely filled out the registration package – including your child’s immunization records, Personal Health Number, emergency contacts, possible health plan, read and understood all of the following: Parent Agreement 2012-13, Registration Information 2012-13, and Parent Handbook 2012-13, and signed and dated all sections of the permissions page. You will also need to have completely filled out and signed the back of the Emergency Permission Card, and include a photo of your child which will then be attached to the back of this card for those times we travel off-site.
For those who have picked up a registration package at Ready, Set, Learn: please familiarize yourself with our latest documentation on our “Forms” page before dropping of your package, as there have been a few changes, most notably that post-dated cheques are now required for the full year.
For those who have printed off their packages on-line – we have extra Emergency Permission Cards here on hand for you to fill out when you drop-off your package. You will not lose your place in line as these cards are not available for print off our site, but please ensure that they are fully filled out before you leave
.
Also, please be aware that we have altered our fees payment policy this year: KOSC now requires post-dated cheques for regularly registered fees for September 2012 through to June 2013, as well as the membership registration fee (an initial $35 per family, and then $5/family for each subsequent year). Please ensure that these cheques read “Keating Out Of School Care” and not “KOSC” as our financial institution will not accept them. Regularly registered fees are those days you have registered for care on a regular basis – it does not include possible drop-in days, or Pro-D days, or Break Camp days, as these must be asked for separately, and are billed at the end of the month, for the month proceeding it (ie: September drop-in fees and Pro-D fees are billed at the start of October). For those families in need of care for Pro-D days throughout the school year, registration for these days begins the first day of school in September, and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Regular registration on a day that falls on a Pro-D day does not automatically register your child.
We currently have an average of 20 full-time AM spaces, and 14 full-time PM spaces (as of 10:15am, Friday, March 30th.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns!
Sincerely,
Jamie Crowder
